    “LIONEL TRAINS” by Charles Osgood

    The railroads of our yesterdays
Touched people’s lives in many ways.
One whistle sound, one stretch of track,
    And memories come flooding back.
The romance of the railroad trains
Is still alive; it still remains.
What lovely stories trains could tell
And still do, thanks to LIONEL.

BrickstarRunner, yeah we all have the ‘illness’ I have both Lionel’s (that I inherited from my dad) and H.O.’s that I have boxes and boxes of that I have been collecting for many years, I hope to add a dormer on my house and have a room to set this stuff up in.

Wow dude, you need to chill. What the hell are you so bitter about? Your not a real train guy, no self respecting train guy would trash another train guy’s scale or brand. Stop being an ASS!

I used to model HO. Now I model O 3-rail and love it! It’s bigger and the sound is awesome. Besides, the trains are heavier and you can feel them going by!

I am fanatic of H0 Scale. Lionel trains flanges are ridiculously huge and the tracks look so fake with that darn middle rail and lack of ties.

To each his own, my good sir. I prefer Lionel and other 0 gauge, just as you prefer HO. Its a hobby after all, not a religion, so relax dude. Sometimes I think its a shame that some cars are either to large or underscale, but who cares? Its all in good fun. I’ve done the HO thing and it wasnt for me. But that dosent mean I think its “WRONG” and people who are HO-ers should like O. Enjoy your trains, and I’ll enjoy mine.
