Excellent layout. I see lots of Peco trackwork and a real mix of rolling stock. I recognise some Hornby and some Airfix kits.

I am impressed by the little vehicles. It all looks a bit too clean though. That’s the one giveaway with model railways.

The soot-stains on the footbridge are a clue to the existence of cans of "dirty it up" in the builder’s toolshed! I had never heard of such a thing before visiting this amazing layout. The owner enjoys the mix of periods – and I can see the point when he runs a couple of modern inter-city expresses as he also manages the goods vehicles :-)

I recognise the platforms as Hornby. The ends are a new one on me though. They must be more recent.

You haven’t lived until you’ve had an Inter-city 125 pulling a load of coal waggons though :P
